*PLEASE NOTE: You must be an Ontario resident to donate. The maximum donation amount is $1,200.00. Contributions to municipal campaigns in Ontario are limited to individuals. corporate, government, and union donations are strictly prohibited.

Next: You'll be asked to provide your full name, email, mailing address, postal code, and phone number — all required under the Municipal Elections Act for campaign contribution records.

Contributions are accepted from Ontario residents only and are subject to the Municipal Elections Act. Maximum $1,200 CAD per contributor per candidate. Contributions over $100 require donor disclosure. Political campaign contributions are not eligible for charitable tax receipts.

E-TRANSFER DONATIONS

If you do not wish to use a credit card and would prefer to send your donation via e-transfer, it is very important that you follow the instructions below to ensure that we adhere to the Ontario Municipal Elections Act rules and regulations. If even one step is missed, we may have to refund your donation.

  1. In your on-line banking, use this e-mail address to send the e-transfer: shaun@shaunrickardformayor.ca
  2. In the text/message box of the e-transfer page on your online banking, please be sure to include the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Your full mailing address, including postal code
    • Your Phone number

MAIL-IN DONATIONS

Personal cheques, money orders, bank drafts and certified cheques should be made payable to: Shaun Rickard Mayoral Campaign

It is very important that you provide the following information to ensure that we adhere to the Ontario Municipal Elections Act rules and regulations. The required information outlined below can be printed on the cheque, or on a separate sheet of paper stapled/paperclipped to the cheque in the envelope.
